My Boyfriend Made Me Stand for Ten Hours for My Bestie

Every holiday, Soph ends up with a standing-room ticket for the ten-hour train ride while her boyfriend Vincent and her best friend Chloe travel first class together. Vincent insists the standing ticket is for her own good, and Chloe laughs it off as nothing. This year, after the two of them talk her into buying standing-room tickets again, Soph finally cancels hers and books an Uber instead.

When Vincent learns of the cancellation, he tells her to stop being difficult and warns that Chloe will be upset. He comes home wearing Chloe's signature custom perfume, kicks her packed suitcase aside and tells her that if she won't stand for ten hours, she can stay behind and look after the house while he takes Chloe out. Soph simply nods and agrees to stay.

After three years of being left to stand alone, she has stopped making excuses for the two people she once loved.
