Take What You Want

Eight months pregnant, a wife is dragged through a shopping mall by her mother-in-law, Paula Sutton, and her husband, Oliver Canning, who are determined to tear decorative gift boxes from a towering Christmas tree. In her previous life, that same greed started a stampede; Paula and Oliver fled with their prizes while she and her unborn daughter were trampled to death. The boxes held nothing, save a venomous Black Widow spider that crawled onto Paula's hand.

Now she has woken on that same Christmas Day, back beneath the familiar tree. Paula and Oliver are already scheming, boasting of a gold bracelet Oliver once won and whipping the crowd into a grabbing frenzy. She knows the mall will collapse into chaos again, and this time she will not try to stop them. She quietly calls the police, then steps away from the crowd to protect herself and her child.

But Paula soon turns on her, demanding help and striking her across the face. With the crowd surging and the gift boxes still unopened, she must decide how far she will let their greed run.
