The Post-Apocalyptic BBQ Joint

After a gas tank explosion in her restaurant, a young woman wakes to find her BBQ joint and herself transported to a ruined, pitch-black wasteland where zombies roam. The undead cannot enter her shop, and she survives on an endless supply of pork belly and beer, yet an invisible barrier blocks every other ingredient. A robotic voice tells her that only serving customers will unlock the rest.

When a bloodied young man named Kyle stumbles to her door, she greets him with a night-market smile and grills twenty skewers. He pays with a few Level 1 zombie cores, eats with tears in his eyes, and leaves vowing to return. Days later he knocks again, begging her to save his wounded brother, who was ambushed for crystals after killing a Level 4 zombie.
