Elena has waited three years to finish her vows with Charlie Shaw. Seventeen times the ceremony has begun, and seventeen times Vivian Wilson has seized the microphone to plead for help finding her missing younger brother, Zachary. Charlie lets her, then tells Elena not to make a scene.

This time Elena hands the microphone over for good. She has starved herself for weeks, bled through her heels, and listened to Charlie's excuses until the pain numbed.
