Mic Dropped on My Ex

After three years as the stand-in for her billionaire husband Julian Vance's first love, Stella Reed is handed a cold divorce settlement and told the original, Serena Thompson, has returned. Instead of tears, she pulls out a pink calculator and bills him for every day of overtime, emotional labor, and public appearances — then plays a recording of him sleep-talking another woman's name. She walks out with a check, but her mother's rehabilitation bills carry an extra zero.

Desperate for faster money, Stella takes the stage at an underground comedy club, turning her marriage into a five-minute routine that goes viral. Her old agent Carol Hayes arrives with an offer: a reality show called Exes Roast Night, three million per episode, with Julian's company as its largest investor and Serena among the invited guests. Stella signs, adding a clause that the production bears all consequences.

Backstage, Serena glides in with a Birkin box and a sweet warning to show discretion. Stella only smiles — she still needs material for her first joke.
