Story
The story
After watching her best friend's marriage collapse when a husband's old flame resurfaces, Rebecca Pierce researches Sean Blackwood before agreeing to their arranged union. The families' contract is signed, and Rebecca becomes Sean's wife.
On their third wedding anniversary, Sean brings Lily home. The girl appears at their bedroom door in a thin nightgown, afraid to be alone, and Sean leaves to comfort her. Rebecca retaliates with a party of models, trading insults with Lily and demanding that Sean choose between them. When morning comes, Lily wears Sean's shirt and boasts of his cooking, and Rebecca resolves to end the marriage.
Sean insists Lily is only his sister, yet Rebecca sees the lines she crosses and the marks she leaves. As he pleads for her trust, Rebecca must decide whether his devotion is real or whether Lily will destroy what they have.
