Story
The story
On her wedding anniversary, Sally Miller's husband Tim Martin claims he must work overtime, leaving a rose crystal necklace and lingerie under the bed as a surprise. Yet a concert couple video shows Tim and Sally's best friend Dora Taylor holding hands, making heart shapes, and kissing, with Dora wearing the same rose crystal ring. When Tim calls to say he won't come home, a familiar female voice is heard in the background before he hangs up.
Sally realizes her husband and best friend may have been together for a long time, hidden behind his meticulous care. The three have been inseparable since junior high, when Tim and Dora once stood up for her, and she married Tim against her father's wishes. Now she must decide how to face the betrayal.
As thunder rolls, Tim returns and holds her, but the faint rose scent on him is Dora's favorite.
