When I woke up, the dining table was already full of people, with only Fiona missing.

I knew this was an ambush against me.

Mrs. Johnson's face fell as soon as she saw me sit down. "Lisa, you and Elvis's wedding will have to be cancelled for now."

I lowered my head and took a sip of porridge, emotionless. "Okay."

I don't know how I had angered Elvis again. He slammed the table hard, looking at me with disgust in his eyes:

"If you hadn't stolen the life of a rich young lady from Fiona, I never would have fallen for you. Fiona is the one I should have loved all along."

Elvis suddenly stopped mid-sentence, gazing lovingly behind me:

"Fiona, did you sleep well last night?"

Fiona sat down on Elvis's lap, sleepy-eyed. When she saw me at the table, she immediately became upset:

"What right do you have to eat at the table with us, you're just a maid? The daughter of your low-class mother really has no manners."

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson's expressions darkened, but they still grimly ordered me:

"Lisa, from now on you'll eat with the other staff."

I gave a bitter smile.

When I first found out I wasn't the Johnsons' daughter, I had offered to leave this family and give her parents back to her.

But Fiona suddenly lost her memory, believing I was the maid who had taken care of her since childhood.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and Elvis all coaxed me to stay, saying not to further upset Fiona.

Elvis even said he would marry me whether I was the Johnsons' daughter or not.

I was softhearted then and agreed.

I just never expected to receive their increasingly harsh mockery and targeting.

After breakfast, a group of people barged into my room.

Fiona led the way, directing the maids to move my things out one by one. Her gaze landed on the old piano in the center of the room.

"Smash that piano. What an outdated thing - a maid should be taking care of me, not secretly using her salary to learn fancy skills."

That piano was given to me by my late piano teacher. I clenched my fists and stepped forward to protect it, my tone firm:

"You can do whatever you want with my other things, but not this piano."

Fiona let out a shrill scream. "Fine then, go sleep in the doghouse with your precious piano!"

"Weren't those little dogs your most prized possessions? Go sleep with them!"

Those two puppies were a birthday gift Elvis had given me. When Fiona first came back, Elvis had sent them away because Fiona said she hated the smell of animals.

I still remembered, but Elvis looked at me with contempt:

"They're just dumb animals. Only someone from a poor background like you would treasure them so much."

But I clearly recalled how he said he wanted to be the puppies' dad when he first bought them for me.

In the end, all my belongings were thrown into the room I had originally prepared for the dogs.
