The CEO’s Final Play.

At a penthouse club, Chloe Sterling finds her husband Dominic Vance seated beside Lily Rose, the woman he once let go. When Lily asks whether he will still go home with his wife, Chloe lifts a bottle of Cabernet and offers him a choice: home, or a hospital wing. The bottle comes down toward Lily, and Dominic shields her, taking the blow to his own forehead. He carries Lily out to the ER, leaving Chloe bleeding and dismissed as someone who can handle herself.

Lily returns as Dominic's Chief of Staff, her word his word, and he hands her the merger Chloe spent six months building. A villa in the Hamptons is registered in Lily's name. Chloe counts the days he has stayed away and keeps her own counsel, reviewing a plan fifteen years in the making.
