My Son Betrayed Me

Ethan has always been an obedient son, but his first love, Jessica, is a divorced coworker ten years his senior with a five-year-old son. When his mother opposes the match, Ethan goes on a hunger strike and threatens to die, forcing her to give in.

At the meeting of the two families, Jessica reveals that Ethan has already had a vasectomy to prove he will treat her son as his own, and Ethan vows he will have no children of his own until Jessica agrees. Watching her son surrender everything, his mother quietly gives up hope and resolves to have another child herself.

As Ethan plans his wedding, unaware of his mother's decision, she tells him she will no longer interfere in his life. She hopes he will not regret the partner he chose.
