I Exit From Your Lies

For six years, Ann Coleman has kept her relationship with Forrest Yarrow hidden, working as his subordinate to avoid gossip. At a holiday dinner, he directs her to wait in a public restroom, seats Betty Swanson beside him, and lets a coworker mock her. When Betty spills soup on her dress, Forrest only asks if Betty is hurt. Ann finally says they broke up and goes home alone, while Forrest keeps texting that he is buying Betty medicine and cooking her porridge. The next morning Ann resigns, telling her supervisor she wants to return to her family. But at an emergency meeting, Forrest throws down a proposal filled with garbled characters and accuses her of a careless attitude. Ann insists it is not what she wrote, yet he refuses to listen.
