After My Ex Betrayed Me, I Put His Mistress in Jail

At her birthday party, Jane Truman watches a drinking game expose what she suspects is her husband Mark Jefferson's affair with Carrie Wood, whose phone lists him as "Husband." When a drunk friend jokes about pregnancy, Mark's cruel reaction and Carrie's smug teasing turn the celebration into a public humiliation, with cake smeared on Jane and Mark defending Carrie instead of her.

Jane demands Carrie take a pregnancy test to settle the matter. Ten tests come back negative, and Mark, enraged, strikes Jane's arm with a bottle, ordering her to apologize and stop embarrassing herself. Bleeding and dismissed, Jane leaves for the hospital, where eight stitches close the wound but not her doubts.

As their friends' group chat fills with photos of the party continuing without her, Jane realizes the tests may have been fooled and decides that if Mark wants to play this way, she will not hold back.
