Story

The story

In her past life, an obstetrician was destroyed by the two people she trusted most. Jessica, the student she and her husband Isaac had sponsored for ten years, begged her to perform a secret IVF procedure before marriage, and the doctor agreed out of pity. When the attempts failed, Jessica publicly accused her of malpractice, while Isaac testified against her in court. Convicted of illegal medical practice, she lost her license, her freedom and finally her life in prison. Only in death did she learn the truth: the poor-quality sperm had been Isaac's all along, and the affair and the IVF had been a trap to seize her fortune.

Now she has woken in her old bedroom, alive and back at the beginning. Jessica stands before her again, asking the same sweet question about the procedure. This time the doctor refuses, recording every word, determined to let the conspirators play their game while she builds her own.

With everything she knows and nothing left to lose, she will not be their victim twice.
