Story

The story

Evvie Moondragon has everything—beauty, popularity, and Zachary, the future beta she believes is her mate. On her eighteenth birthday, she plans to give herself to him completely. But when Zachary returns from training, he brings another woman, pregnant, on his arm. Their eyes lock, the mate bond snaps into place, and he rejects her. Heartbroken, Evvie flees to the human world.

Two years later, a new Alpha takes over her pack and forces her back, threatening death if she stays disconnected too long. Zachary is now the pack's beta, and fate has not been kind to him either. As two high-ranking werewolves turn against each other to fight for her love, Evvie must face the mate who once shattered her.

Opening excerpt
