The Car Full of the Dead

Driving his family home after the holiday weekend, Harry takes a call from his childhood friend Joshua, who says his parents, wife Kitty and daughter Anna have been butchered at home. A video follows, showing their blood-soaked bodies on the stairs and Kitty beheaded. Yet Kitty sits beside him, and his mother and father scold him from the back seat. Then the local precinct calls to confirm the deaths and demand his return.

Harry insists his family is alive, but Kitty slaps him, his father shoves him, and they drive off, leaving him on the shoulder of the interstate. Detective Carter arrives and, unmoved by Harry's pleas, takes him to the station. When Harry spots Kitty's SUV on the highway, Carter refuses to pull it over, and calls to Kitty, his mother and his father all go unanswered.

Back in his hometown, the street is sealed off with crime scene tape, and neighbors whisper behind the flashing lights. Harry must face the question of who, or what, was riding in his car.
