The Walton Shutdown

Caleb Hearst has returned from his studies abroad to take charge of the family business, but his wife Elara secretly hands his billion-dollar project proposal to his disowned older brother, Shawn. When Caleb demands she retrieve it, she fails—and siphons ten billion dollars from the company instead. In response, he freezes every company under the Walton family name, and the fortune begins evaporating by the minute.

Elara storms into his office, furious and reeking of alcohol, insisting Shawn deserves respect and accusing Caleb of isolating him. Caleb counters with proof of Shawn's past betrayals—kidnapping and poisoning—and photos of Elara and Shawn together on a yacht and in a hotel room. Cornered, she threatens that the game is not over and walks out.

After a long night, Caleb orders divorce papers prepared, recalling that his arranged marriage was meant to seal an alliance, not tolerate betrayal. Before the papers arrive, Elara's parents and the entire Walton family kneel before him, begging him to spare them.
