Two years after her husband Declan vanished and was presumed dead, Sarah sold everything to pay his mother's medical bills. It was not enough, and his mother died. On the day of the funeral, Declan returned. Seeing the sales contracts and the urn, he believed Sarah had stolen from him and abandoned his mother, and he refused to hear any explanation.

The man she once knew is gone, replaced by a cold playboy who spends freely on other women, including Tiffany, yet refuses Sarah even money for medicine.
