Commanded To Kneel By My Ex Husband

Nova Reed commands the all-female Raven Team, pinned down in a hostile desert during a humanitarian mission overseas. Trapped with more than a hundred rescued civilians and ammunition running out, she radios the Operations Room for extraction. The reply comes from Commander Elias Barrett, the husband she left at the altar years ago. He orders her to hold her position and fight to the last man, refusing every plea for withdrawal while he watches the slaughter by satellite from a secure underground center thousands of miles away.

As the enemy closes in and her second-in-command Lexi warns that the heavy machine gun has less than thirty rounds per person left, Elias offers a single condition for mercy: Nova must kneel before the civilians she saved, confess to betraying her husband, and perform one hundred loud kowtows. He knows honor is her last boundary, and he means to dismantle it in front of her team. With the civilians breaking down and no way to bypass his command, Nova must decide whether to submit to his terms or let everyone die.
