Some People Are Meant to Be Forgotten

After a car crash leaves Sadie Hartman with a memory like a goldfish, she clings to one constant: her feelings for Caleb Warner, which she has recorded in her diary for seven years. When he abandons her on a freezing mountaintop after losing a bet, she nearly dies there, and at last destroys everything tied to him.

Weeks later, a call from Caleb reaches her, but she no longer knows his name. The stranger who carried her down the mountain, Elijah Parker, keeps appearing at her side, acting far more familiar than a first meeting should allow, while Caleb and his friends mock her as an idiot.
