My Evil Housekeeper

Susan Jenner returns home from abroad to find that her housekeeper, Joanne Wagner, has sued her and her husband, Gary Levine. In court, Joanne cradles her pregnant belly and accuses the couple of luring her into their home, tying her to a bed, and abusing her, claiming the child is Gary's. Her mother, Ruth Wagner, sobs that the two monsters have ruined her daughter's life, and the gallery erupts in curses against the absent Gary and the smiling Susan.

Susan knows her husband would never do such a thing. Before the hearing, Joanne demanded 500 grand for the child's support and 200 grand in compensation, threatening to post her story everywhere if refused. Susan called it extortion and refused to pay a cent. Joanne stormed out and published an edited version of their conversation, which went viral.

In court, the plaintiff's attorney plays an audio recording of a man's mocking laugh and a woman's desperate cries, with voice comparison putting a 95 percent probability on Gary. Susan clenches her fists and demands proof that the voice is her husband's.
