A Wind Blows In

A girl stands accused of a crime she did not commit. Three people are dead, and the killer wore her face. In a courtroom packed with onlookers, she refuses to confess and makes an extraordinary demand: she will submit to a Memory Trial, a brutal procedure that broadcasts her innermost thoughts to the world, normally reserved only for those already condemned to death.

As her memories play out on the screen, the gallery braces for gruesome evidence. Instead they find a normal high school senior on break, browsing, binge-watching and visiting her elderly blind neighbour, Mrs. Gable. At the hour of the murder, her memories place her walking home from the park and eating dinner there. The footage, however, is a near-perfect match to her face. If she is innocent, who is the killer?

Then her mother bursts in, crying that she is the only daughter left. The judge orders her memories pulled back twelve years, to a crowded train station where a couple lured away a child.
