I Am Deaf-Mute, And Learned His Scheme Through Smart Glasses

Born deaf and mute, a young woman shares her whole relationship through typed messages with her boyfriend. For their one-year anniversary she secretly buys high-tech glasses that transcribe nearby speech into text on the lenses, and a seductive nurse costume for an unforgettable night.

Trying the glasses on at home, she reads two strangers' words on the display: they are hiding inside her apartment, waiting for the sleeping pills in her flu medicine to take effect, and they speak of a kindergarten teacher killed days earlier. Her phone sits in the living room, the killers are between her and the door, and someone waits outside.

When a man she takes for her boyfriend guides her back inside, she notices his typing is full of punctuation, while her boyfriend always used spaces. A smear of fresh blood on his cuff tells her the truth.
