Side Chick's Joyride, Fiancé's Meltdown

Elena Ezzelini is a top-tier heart surgeon whose government-issued armored SUV is kept at her fiancé Marco Varonetti's home. When an emergency call comes in for a heart transplant for Chancellor Ravel, she rushes to retrieve the car — only to find Sophia Caro, Marco's favorite intern assistant, already lounging in the back seat and ordering her around like a chauffeur.

Sophia refuses to leave, and when Elena tries to drive anyway, the intern lunges at the wheel, wrecking the car. Varonetti bodyguards then shove Elena aside and take the front seats, while the maid reveals that Sophia has been installed as the lady of the house — diamond ring and all. Marco himself, reached by phone, sides with Sophia, dismisses Elena's surgical skill as a lie, and moves his grandfather Donato's operation to a foreign expert, leaving Elena off the case.

With thirty minutes until takeoff and her patient's life on the line, Elena tries to walk away — and is beaten, bound, and dragged behind her own car by Sophia and the guards.
