Story
The story
Daisy Summers is the lowest-ranking omega in the Moonlight Pack, born to beta parents who never wanted her and forever measured against her twin sister, Dahlia. Bullied by the pack and ignored by its Alpha, Tristian Parker, she clings to one hope: that on her eighteenth birthday she will finally meet her wolf and her mate.
Instead, her mate is Tristian himself, Dahlia's boyfriend and one of her cruellest tormentors. Before the pack he rejects her as his mate and Luna, and Daisy, with no choice, accepts. Weakened by the rejection and still at the mercy of those around her, she takes a drastic step that forces Tristian to notice her at last.
Can Tristian ever come to love the mate he cast aside, and will Daisy let him in, or is it already too late?
Opening excerpt
"You're my mate?!" Tristian laughs as if this is some big joke. My heart aches and all I can do is coward under his glare. He looks at me like I'm nothing. The hatred in his eyes makes my eyes burn.
"I-I'm sorry." I choke out and he only scoffs in disgust. My weak answer must make him hate me. "I-I didn't... I didn't mean to..."
