Surprise Encounter: The Installer of My New Double Bed Was None Other Than My Ex

After her double bed collapses in the night, a woman orders a new one online but forgets to add assembly. By mistake she sends her plea for help to her ex-boyfriend James, a doctor she broke up with a year ago because he was too dull — and he arrives at her door to build the bed. As he works, the old attraction stirs, and he suggests they test how sturdy the new bed really is.

But her younger roommate Ryan, a medical intern, is also on his way home — and Ryan turns out to be James's student at the hospital. When the two men meet at her door, James realises who else shares her flat and why the last bed broke, and his mood turns cold.

Caught between a jealous ex and a roommate who knows too much, she has to decide what she actually wants.
