Story
The story
Harold led the drone program that won an international award and sold for 300 million, but on payday the five-million bonus he was promised went to Lester, a newly hired intern. When Harold confronts CEO Darlene Schmidt, she insists the company makes no mistakes and hands him a resignation letter. He signs it on the spot.
As he leaves, the office whispers that he coasted on seniority while Lester worked overtime, conveniently forgetting the nine years Harold spent building the department. When Freddy sneers loudest, Harold smashes the award mug on his desk and walks out in silence.
Lester then offers to return the money, but only to mock him, claiming the office will soon be his. Harold answers by naming every shortcut Lester took, and the truth behind the intern's sudden rise begins to surface.
