Story
The story
One month before the wedding, Jason Reed rushes to fulfill his ex-girlfriend Ava Green's "final wishlist"—bungee jumping, skiing, the Northern Lights in Iceland, even wedding photos—and posts it all proudly on social media. Emma, his fiancée of seven years, merely likes the post, and Jason calls her furious, accusing her of making a fuss while Ava is dying. He then postpones the wedding. But Emma knows the truth: Ava is not dying at all. She is faking it.
As Jason stays at Ava's beck and call, Emma's neighbor Chase Thompson, who has quietly loved her for years, reaches out. Over drinks, Emma's hurt spills out, and Chase steadies her when she can no longer stand. When Jason confronts her about giving up their seven years, Emma throws his own words back at him. With the wedding cancelled and Ava's lie still unexposed, Emma must decide what her future holds.
