Story

The story

Olivia has only three days left to live. After a mudslide on a family camping trip, her adopted sister Lily shoves her into a ravine, and rescuers find her seven days later. By then, Olivia knows an inoperable brain tumor is already counting down her life.

At the hospital, Olivia agrees to donate a kidney to Lily, who is said to be dying of end-stage kidney cancer. Her parents and her fiancé Ethan Vance are relieved, praising her as a sensible elder sister at last. Only Olivia knows the surgery she schedules is the day she intends to die.

When Lily visits, she drops her mask and admits she wanted Olivia's fiancé too. Then a pre-surgery report revealing Olivia's own failing organs is dismissed as a fake, and her family's disappointment turns to disgust. Olivia says nothing, letting them believe the lie.
