Story

The story

Fresh out of college, Estelle Hale struggles to find work while her boyfriend Jenson Middleton thrives at a major company. He gives her his card, buys her a car for her long commute, and everyone calls him the perfect boyfriend. When she lands a job, she secretly transfers her own salary into his account to help buy their first house.

On their engagement day, Jenson turns on her. He shows photos of a woman who looks like her with more than 40 men and bank statements from Sunshine Club, accusing her of cheating and demanding she return the car and 800,000 dollars. His mother and friends join the attack, certain she cannot pay.

Calmly, Estelle calls in her attorney, Mrs. Zane, who reveals the car was paid with Estelle's own money and that someone used Jenson's card to frame her. The accounts are about to be settled.
