Story

The story

Olivia Stone's husband, Jaxon Rivers, has secretly married his childhood friend Ruby Wells, claiming it is only a fake ceremony to appease her family. When Olivia's water breaks at the wedding, Jaxon carries her off, not to a hospital, but to Maplewood Residences, where he locks her inside to fend for herself and returns to Ruby.

Believing Olivia is only six months pregnant and merely causing a scene, Jaxon ignores her pleas. In truth she is nearly full term, and as she bleeds and begs his assistant Henry Bennett for help, no one comes. A week later Jaxon returns to a deflated belly and a decayed body.

Now a lingering spirit at the wedding she died cursing, Olivia watches Ruby wear the gown made for her and hears Jaxon tell Henry to demand an apology. Then a doctor from Silverbrook Hospital calls about her due date, and Jaxon freezes.
