Billionaire Wife's Cruel Game Cost My Dad's Life

When his father is kidnapped, Shawn turns to his wife, Eliza Wood, a billionaire, for help. She sends three million dollars and tells him not to bother Leon. He pays the ransom, but Eliza reverses the payment and freezes the kidnapper's account. Believing she tricked him, the kidnapper tortures the father for three hours before killing him.

While Shawn collects his father's ashes, the city's screens show Eliza and her new assistant, Leon Turner, celebrating his arrival at Wood Corp. She dismisses Shawn's grief as a tantrum and sends more money. After blocking her, Shawn hires Mr. Reilly to draw up a divorce agreement and waits at the courthouse, but Eliza never appears.

Her assistant, Cody Duncan, tells him to prepare her favorite dinner instead. Pushed to the edge, Shawn threatens to jump from the Wood Corp building unless Eliza takes his call.
