Adrian was right; I did want to kill him before.

We were the famous "hate couple" of high society.

After a wild night, we were forced to get married.

Post-marriage, we were at each other's throats, exploiting every weakness.

He cut off my numerous romantic prospects; I embarrassed him publicly multiple times.

But everyone gets tired of fighting eventually.

I didn't want to battle Adrian anymore, so I planned to elope with a college student under the cover of night.

After all, he was a 20-year-old innocent college boy.

Until a few minutes ago, when I saw the comments.

To avoid being investigated, I tearfully abandoned my elopement plan.

Seeing my silence, Adrian's aggressively handsome face suddenly leaned in, millimeters from my lips.

The air was thick with tension.

I snapped back to reality, blushing as I spouted nonsense:

"I just recently realized you're actually pretty great. Handsome, fit, and willing to spend money on me."

"Compared to those flowers outside?"

"No exaggeration, those mediocre guys don't compare to one ten-thousandth of you."

Adrian stared at me, a fake smile on his face.

"Is that so? Then delete all those male models from your WeChat."

I froze.

Adrian really had to say things that made me want to die in the most ambiguous moments.

Under his murderous gaze, I deleted over a dozen male models.

Adrian raised an eyebrow. "Not deleting the college boy? Saving him for your elopement tonight?"

My hand trembled.

Adrian really knew everything.

I secretly thanked my lucky stars that I saw those comments before eloping.

I painfully deleted the college boy's contact.

The corner of Adrian's mouth lifted slightly as he ruffled my hair. "Good girl."

I ignored him.

I just buried my face in his massive chest muscles and secretly wiped my tears.
