He Chose First love at My Birthday Party

At Willow Summers's birthday party, thrown by her boyfriend Byron Fox, he turns his phone on the room and lets Isabel Butler kiss his cheek before the two announce they are going official. Everyone knows Byron and Willow have been together seven years and are planning to marry. Isabel calls it a joke; Willow answers lightly that videos of brides calling off weddings are popular too, then leaves the party and tells the group chat to wish the new couple well.

Byron comes home demanding answers, offering no apology and excusing Isabel as a young neighbor he treats like a little sister. Willow points out they were all classmates, then says they are done and packs her things. Days later Isabel posts photos with Byron, calling them Willow's unrefundable wedding shoot. Whatever hope Willow held for Byron is gone.
