Love is Fading

On New Year's Eve, Ruben plans to surprise his wife Celine at her office with flowers and a custom-made ring, only to witness her new assistant Jericho pressing her against the desk. Celine coldly warns Jericho never to threaten her marriage, and Ruben quietly leaves, ordering Mr. Dellson to suspend all support from Caresso Corporation to Celine's company.

Ruben hides his identity as a wealthy heir and says nothing to his parents, who urge him to be understanding of his hardworking wife. He learns the divorce and asset freeze will take five days, and books a flight to an unknown country. Celine returns home feigning innocence, even gifting him a watch Jericho had discarded.

As fireworks light the sky, Celine promises Ruben a surprise the next night, unaware that he already knows everything.
