Story

The story

Once the Grand Minister of the Dynasty, Yun Zhi foresaw that the noble consort's unborn child bore a strange appearance that would bring disaster. When she knelt to beg the emperor to prevent future trouble, she was accused of selfishness and of scheming to kill Miao Er's child. Furious, the emperor cast her into the military camp as a prostitute, her arms broken, to be ridden by thousands.

The emperor, panicking, sought her prayers, but the blessing order had already recognized another master. Her younger sister Shu had become the national teacher, and it was she who helped Miao Guifei conceive. Now the emperor demands Yun Zhi pray for the prince in Miao Er's womb, while Aruo's life hangs on her answer.

Broken in body and stripped of divine power, Yun Zhi can only kneel and beg forgiveness, her ruined fate sealed by those she once served.
