Two Car Crashed, My OB-GYN Husband Saves The Other Woman Instead

In the chaos after a two-car collision, a pregnant woman is wheeled into the maternity ward beside another expectant mother. When her husband, the renowned OB-GYN Dr. Samuel Hartley, arrives covered in blood, he orders the staff to save Lila Whitmore first, signing the waiver himself and postponing his own wife's surgery. Left in a hallway without a bed, she watches him tend to Lila with a tenderness that cuts deep.

Then her condition turns critical: an acute amniotic fluid embolism. Her attending physician fights to save both mother and child, but Samuel has already left to make soup for Lila and ignores the calls for help. A colleague's careless words reveal how the hospital sees the two women, and her will to live begins to slip away.

After a day-long battle and over 500 units of blood, she survives and meets her son. Yet Samuel gives their nurse to Lila, lets everyone call Lila his wife, and rushes to her side again, leaving his own family behind.
