Final Call For Love

Eight months pregnant and washing dishes, a wife learns her husband Javier Valentin was caught speeding — though his legs had been disabled. He calls it a medical miracle, claiming her cousin Garcia can vouch for him, and promises they will live in harmony once the baby arrives. She laughs, books an induced abortion, and walks away from the cage.

At home Javier lounges, scattering sunflower seeds, demanding a new computer. For five years she paid his debts, gave up work abroad, and took five part-time jobs while he did nothing. When Garcia arrives with his friends, he orders her to clean and cook, then throws a plate that cuts her arm; the pair mock her as she bleeds.

A clinic visit and a post from Garcia reveal a party in Javier's supposedly lost villa. Digging through his phone, she finds a second account where Garcia is saved as his dear wife, with explicit messages and transfers matching every sum he begged from her. What kind of monster did she marry?
