My Husband Bullies Our Daughter to Please His Sweetheart

Zoe's daughter, Ellie Clark, ranked first in the Scholastic Assessment Test, but her university choice was secretly altered by Zoe's husband, Liam Mitchell. He wanted Ellie to attend the same university as Gianna's son, Layla Evans, so the two could keep each other company and eventually marry. Ellie stormed out of the house in anger and was hit by a car. She urgently needed a blood transfusion, and only Liam was a match.

Zoe called Liam for help, but Gianna answered. When Liam finally spoke, he called Zoe a liar and hung up. Zoe rushed to the mall, where Liam and Gianna were choosing a hamster with Layla. She knelt and begged Liam to save their daughter, but he refused to believe her, and Layla claimed Ellie was fine. By the time a colleague called, Ellie was gone.

Zoe told Liam she wanted a divorce. Reviewing the surveillance footage, she saw Ellie confronting Liam about the altered application. Now Zoe silently arranges Ellie's funeral while gathering evidence for the divorce.
