Shameless for You: Claiming the Broken Heir

Declan Vance, the golden heir of the city's wealthiest family, loses the use of his legs in a car accident. Overnight his illegitimate half-brother takes his place in the family conglomerate, his girlfriend Serena Blair leaves him and quickly becomes engaged to Nate Thorne, and his friends abandon him. Alone in his hospital room, he is a trapped, lonely beast.

Hazel Sterling, who has loved him for years, flies back from Europe and proposes a marriage alliance. She mocks him, tears open his wounds, and offers her family's backing so his opportunistic relatives must think twice. Declan asks what she wants; she answers that she has always wanted him. He calls himself a cripple and a bad investment, but she refuses to be deterred.

Even if he has no feelings for her, she will use marriage as a trade, because she loves him too much to let go.
