Story
The story
Wendy Shaw has spent four years loving Justin King, the driven CEO who once promised to be her rock after her parents died. When she brings him the chicken soup she spent two weeks perfecting, he hands it to his new assistant instead, then insists on breaking up. A cold mechanical voice echoes in her mind, and memories come flooding back.
She returns home to find him lying about the soup, and his phone reveals flirtatious messages from the assistant. Wendy clings to one last hope: a dinner she has booked, a plea for Lisianthus flowers, and the belief that if he simply shows up, she can forgive him.
But the message goes unanswered, and she is left waiting, deceiving herself.

Before I could even get angry, Justin insisted we break up.
