Daughter Has a High Fever While Husband Is Secretly Meeting His Lover

When four-year-old Emily's fever spikes to 104°F in the middle of the night, her father Jack takes the car and leaves, telling his wife Chloe to handle it alone. She carries Emily eight miles to the hospital, where a nurse praises her "good husband" for being busy at work.

At dawn, Chloe sees a post from Lily, Jack's purchasing manager, showing stockings on a passenger seat identical to their car. The next day at the hospital, she finds Jack tenderly supporting a pregnant Lily. He admits the child is his, saying his parents always wanted a grandson to carry on the Miller family name, while Lily says she simply loves kids.

Jack later brings Emily only two bags of chips and gives Chloe a red dress identical to one Lily owns, caught on the store's CCTV. Chloe, who cut ties with her parents to build their business, must decide how to fight for Emily.
