At a company team-building event, Sophia Brown draws the dare and kisses Michael Smith, the man Rachel Taylor has loved for seven years. He kisses her back, and when the room turns to Rachel, she only applauds. Michael insists Sophia is just a friend, but his defense of her and his coldness toward Rachel speak louder than his words.

Rachel has spent years fighting for Michael's warmth, ever since the campus heartthrob chose her and she gave him everything.
