Story

The story

A feral curse has swept the werewolf world, turning the infected into monsters that devour their own packmates. Elena and her mate, Alpha Liam, are among the last survivors of their pack, waiting on an airfield for an Alliance transport as the feral pack closes in. But Liam refuses to leave without Chloe, an omega who ran back for a music box, and he will hold the whole pack hostage to save her.

Elena has lived this day before. In her last life, she forced the ramp shut and left Chloe to die; that night Liam drugged her and threw her to a captured feral, blaming her for Chloe's death. Now she has woken back on the same tarmac, and this time she agrees to wait, hiding a cold plan behind a smile.

When the Alliance declares the zone quarantined and the transport abandons them, Elena reveals a hidden comms link and a clearance that offers only seven seats for eight survivors.

Opening excerpt

A Feral Curse swept through the werewolf world.

Those wolves touched by it become monsters that devour their own packmates; others die in agony as the infection burns through them.

The survivors formed an Alliance to fight back.

I fought alongside my mate, Alpha Liam, until the very end. Until rescue finally came.

But our transport was seconds from takeoff.
