The story
At six, Seraphina Bennett watched her father Anderson Crawford hand her and her mother over to a brutal reformatory, obeying his mistress Victoria. Now Victoria arrives at her door with a lavish contract, not recognising the girl she once tried to kill. Seraphina tears it in half before the cameras, and within minutes Crawford Enterprises is exposed for toxic, counterfeit materials, its stock in freefall. Then Anderson himself storms her home, demanding to know who is pulling her strings, and threatening that a billionaire's wrath is not something a little girl can survive.
Seraphina answers with the memory of the dogs and the reformatory, and Anderson's face goes pale. He asks who she really is.
