My Husband Came Back from the Dead

Three days after Hannah Lanson gives birth to her daughter, her husband Kelvin Ferguson is killed by a car while running out for groceries. She collapses from grief and wakes to find his funeral already over and a stranger in her living room claiming to be Kelvin's twin brother, here to help care for her and the baby.

Locked in the bathroom with his urn, Hannah overhears Kelvin's friends through the open window joking that he invented a twin to dodge diaper duty. His own voice answers, complaining about the crying baby and boasting that he will win Hannah back after he has had his fun. She flushes the ashes down the toilet.

When her baby is rushed into intensive care, Kelvin refuses to help, empties his salary card, and demands she leave the apartment he calls his brother's inheritance. Hannah begins to see the man she married for what he always was.
