The story
Jerry is two blocks from his wedding venue when his bride Nancy takes a call from Micah, the childhood friend she has sworn to protect. Her maid of honor Kelly then suggests Jerry give Micah a welcoming gift, and Nancy names ten thousand dollars.
Jerry, who grew up in foster care and saved every penny for this wedding, refuses. As Nancy calls him petty, he finally asks what she and Micah have truly been to each other.
