Story

The story

Mireya has loved Zarek for seven winters, believing he will one day claim her as his Luna. But outside his private chamber in Dreadhowl Citadel, she overhears the truth: she was only a placeholder while Sabine Bloodrose was away, and Zarek has been courting her brother Kellan's runaway sister all along.

When Sabine returns from Highcrest Dominion, she makes sure Mireya knows every cruel detail, then twists the pack against her. Zarek, who once whispered promises beneath the full moon, now believes Sabine's lies and strikes Mireya before the gathered wolves.

With her brother's name used as a weapon and seven winters of memories stained, Mireya must decide what remains when the bond she trusted becomes the deepest betrayal.

Opening excerpt

Seven winters of love under the Moon Goddess, seven winters of planning our future in the pack, shattered inside me like broken crystal.

"How long will you keep playing with Mireya?" A deep male voice carried through the oak door.

My heart froze when I heard my name. The metal keys bit into my palm.

"Come on, Alpha Zarek. Sabine has been asking about you since she returned from Highcrest Dominion." Another voice joined in.
