Story
The story
Rosienne has spent her life paying for her mother's sins. When the truth about her mother's affair with a bonded Alpha was exposed, the packs turned on her, blaming her for a shame she never chose. Then Alpha Darius of the Redclaw Pack appeared, shielding her from the whispers and courting her openly. She believed she had finally found safety.
But Darius has other plans. He slips a moonstone ring onto her finger and asks her to remain his hidden mate while he takes a new she wolf from the Moonfang Territory as his Luna. When Rosienne refuses, he reminds her that without him she has nothing. Yet he does not know about Aunt Sorenna, who rules one of the largest northern territories across the sea, or the message Rosienne has already sent her.
As Darius prepares for his moon binding ceremony, Rosienne must decide whether to keep obeying the Alpha who hides her, or leave him behind for good.

"Your mother was the Alpha's secret lover. So what does that make you?"
Alpha Darius of the Redclaw Pack slipped the moonstone ring onto my finger before those cruel words left his mouth.
I froze beneath the silver glow of the packhouse lanterns. "Darius, what are you saying?"
"It means you're fit to become one too, sweetheart."
I stared at him in disbelief. His face carried no trace of a joke.
"I want you to stay by my side as my hidden mate."
My chest tightened.
"There is a new she wolf serving in the Moonfang Territory," he continued calmly.
