His Three "Do-not-disturb" Rules

Vivian Lane is the wealthiest woman, and her assistant Lesley Gerard has three "do-not-disturb" rules: no messages after work, no calls on weekends, and no contact when he is in a bad mood. When he misses an investor's call, a deal worth over a hundred million collapses. Vivian blames her husband, Ethan, and orders him to hand a profitable project to Lesley as compensation. Ethan agrees and passes over the documents, but the project was funded with his personal capital, and Vivian's signature is required. She signs without hesitation, and Lesley gloats that Ethan now faces bankruptcy.

Ethan secures the investment himself, then cuts ties with Vivian. When Lesley mocks him and Vivian threatens divorce, Ethan accepts flatly, warning her to keep business and personal life separate when her own company hits a wall. Lesley and Vivian only laugh, certain her company will thrive without him.
