Oops, I Let a Bear Eat Him

Kate, a wilderness guide, leads her husband Damon Frank and his colleague Bonnie Grace into a nature reserve for wildlife photography. She knows this trip well, for she has lived it before: in her past life, Damon and Bonnie deliberately wounded her, and a nursing grizzly bear killed her while they watched. As she lay dying, Damon took her gear, kissed Bonnie, and told her he had never loved her, that her death would hand him her assets and a hefty insurance payout. Then she woke again on the morning they entered the mountains, with her memory intact.

Now Kate walks the same trail, watching Bonnie's coy demands and Damon's doting replies, and says nothing. When they reach the grizzly's territory, she warns them to retreat; they mock her caution and press forward to photograph the cubs. Kate has already chosen her hiding place behind a thick tree trunk, and this time the bear will not find her.

She has been given a second chance, and she intends to use it.
